ISBM – International School of Business Management in Luzern/Lucerne, Switzerland, known also as ISBM Business School VBNN, is pleased to share its participation in the AIDIAR 2026 International Conference on Artificial Intelligence, Digital Innovation, and Applied Research. The conference was hosted by U7Y Journal – The Seven Continents Yearbook of Research, ISSN 3042-4399, and took place from 2nd to 3rd May 2026.
The event brought attention to some of the most important themes shaping education, research, business, and digital transformation today. Artificial intelligence, digital innovation, and applied research are no longer only technical subjects. They are now central topics for institutions, researchers, business leaders, educators, and students who want to understand how knowledge can be used in practical and responsible ways.
For ISBM, participation in AIDIAR 2026 was an opportunity to remain engaged with current academic discussions and to observe how researchers and professionals are approaching the fast development of artificial intelligence and digital systems. The conference theme was strongly connected to areas that are important for modern business education, including innovation management, digital strategy, research methods, data-informed decision-making, and the responsible use of emerging technologies.
ISBM’s attendance also reflects its continuing interest in applied learning and international academic exchange. In a changing global environment, business schools and academic institutions are expected to help learners understand not only theories, but also how these theories can be applied to real challenges. Conferences such as AIDIAR 2026 support this direction by creating space for dialogue between research, practice, and education.
The role of artificial intelligence in education was one of the most relevant areas of reflection. AI can support learning processes, improve access to information, help with analysis, and open new opportunities for academic and professional development. At the same time, it requires careful attention to ethics, transparency, quality assurance, and responsible implementation. These issues are important for institutions that aim to prepare learners for future-oriented professional environments.
Digital innovation was another important theme of the conference. Across many sectors, digital tools are changing how organizations work, communicate, manage information, and serve people. For business and management education, this means that students and professionals need to develop a stronger understanding of technology, leadership, adaptability, and critical thinking. ISBM values these discussions because they support a more practical and future-focused approach to learning.
Applied research was also central to the event. Research becomes especially meaningful when it helps explain real problems and supports better decisions. In business, education, and management, applied research can contribute to stronger strategies, improved organizational practices, and more informed leadership. Participation in AIDIAR 2026 allowed ISBM to follow discussions that connect academic inquiry with practical impact.
The conference was hosted by U7Y Journal – The Seven Continents Yearbook of Research, an academic journal identified with ISSN 3042-4399 and available through its official website: https://www.u7y.com/. According to its website, U7Y Journal presents itself as an open-access academic journal with an international research focus.
ISBM is pleased to have participated in this academic event and to continue following developments in artificial intelligence, digital innovation, and applied research. Such participation supports a broader culture of learning, reflection, and international academic engagement. It also strengthens the connection between business education and the technological changes that are shaping the future of work, research, and society.
Through its continued academic activities, ISBM remains committed to positive, responsible, and practical engagement with new knowledge. The participation in AIDIAR 2026 represents another step in maintaining awareness of current developments and supporting a learning environment connected to the needs of today and tomorrow.
